I grew up on Long Island. I moved to Baltimore 15 years ago in pursuit of an education. I was a film major. My parents bought me a still camera for graduation. I began working on movies as a gaffer and a key grip. More recently I am trying my hand as a DP (Director of Photography).
Some while back I began to make what felt like a natural transition into the still photography world. My training in lighting and camera movement has enabled me to think uniquely about the shot that I am after and to see past the obstacles that may prevent others from getting it.
I am truly grateful for the path that took me to still photography. It just happens to be the same path that I met my wife on... and now our daughter, Olive.
